was reminded of my feminist prof's exchange with this male chauvinist former friend of hers who said that celebrating women's day every 8th of march is but another proof that it is a man's world.
"women should be really thankful and festive on this day," said the chauvinist swine. "why, this day's all theirs! tolerable. it's but one day less the entire year."
i wonder if he's in any way related to this japanese minister who was severely rebuked when he said that Japan's decreasing population can be blamed on the baby-making machines not wanting to produce any more babies.
