keep moving forward

This is the time in my life that I’m at a crossroad. With my parents both gone, I could only expand my source of advice from the people I see specks of my mother and father’s sagacity- to keep myself on track.

This one’s from 3Hill’s Coach:

“…if having things turn out the way you wanted them to is the measure of a successful life, then some would say I’m a failure. The important thing is not to be bitter over life’s disappointments.

Learn to let go of the past and recognize that everyday won’t be sunny. When you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair, remember: it’s only in the black of night that you see the stars. And those stars will lead you back home.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes, stumble and fall. Most of the time, the greatest rewards come from doing the things that scare you the most.

Maybe you’ll get everything you wish for. Maybe you’ll get more than you ever could have imagined. Who knows where your life will take you?

The road is long and in the end, the journey is the destination.”

The particularities of my consideration are within me, but it sure helps to hear brave words from people of wisdom- gives me the crucial push to carry on.
