day
of St.
Lorenzo Ruiz
of Manila,
born in
Binondo
around
the year
of 1600,
educated
by
Dominican
friars,
married,
blessed
with two
sons
and one
daughter,
exiled
to
Japan,
there tortured and
hung by
the feet to
death
in
the light of Christ
to live
among
us
all
forever
--September 27,
1637.
