you have not lost your grip no matter how strong the passions are that drive you from day to day. Life and many loves across the years will teach us that we have no right to build our happiness on the ruins of another. But life isn’t really that bad. Everything falls into place. The years come and go bringing events unforeseen, unwelcome at first but which could be blessings in disguise. A lovely room awaits you and a new life, new faces, new interests, and who knows, perhaps even new loves.
…Those who love to read and write are blessed. The hours you spend reading and writing are an escape into another world that enables you to understand and cope with the realities that face you, the capricious denials and affirmations that beset you from day to day. So keep at it: read and write and relish the dreams, you are free to dream. Sometimes that’s all I had to keep going. Dreams.
Keep in touch. Since I cannot offer you anything, let’s just say I’ll be trying in other ways like praying for you. I believe in prayer. I hope you do, too.
I’ll be praying that your heartaches become the source of your strength to overcome and prevail. You deserve no less being the wonderful human being that you are.

Never fear, beloved, I still laugh and smile
Or when the pain is greater than my strength
There are many deserted corners in the church,
There is always my room and it's quite dark.
Today I remember many things
I would be happier to forget, but if I did,
What meaning would there be to this great hope
Of tomorrow burning like fire within my heart?
I love you.

How can you remain so sweet without being diabetic like half a dozen friends you know? And so loving in spite of Cupid’s stupid marksmanship?
I am not complaining. Heavens, no.
May you always be the way you are.
