"Wowowee is a sexist show that demeans Filipinos"

I joined this group in Facebook that believes Wowowee is chauvinist crap. Hehe. Felt the need to post it- not for anything but to express my view.

Ngayong hapon, pinanood ko si Willie Revillame na 7 beses pinakanta ng isang walang kuwentang Christmas carol tungkol sa Pau ang isa mga dancers niya. PITONG BESES. Para lang maaliw siya/ang mga manonood. Ginagawang laruan at espektakulo ang kababaihan.
Tama na. Sobra na. Dapat magkaraoon ng talakayang pangmalawakan tungkol sa mga palabas tulad ng Wowowee.

This afternoon, Willie Revillame made one of the Wowowee dancers sing an inane "Christmas carol" about Pau, an herbal supplement, seven times. It was clearly meant for his' and the audience's entertainment, and it was completely embarrassing to watch. The poor woman was turned into a circus spectacle. And this isn't an isolated incident. How long are we going to put up with this?
