The Chapter "Why is it so hard to be good?" was most touching. It dwelt mostly on PRIDE and how big a sin it is.
My gosh, true talaga, I wish I had read this book when I was much younger. Would have saved me from much haughtiness and pitfalls.
Submitted this review to encourage more to read the book:
mother angelica's answers, not promises is a wonderful book that must be read by all catholics and everyone else wanting to grow in their faith. it provides marvelous insights on the practicality of the teachings of the church. it's the most logical explanation i've ever encountered about the primacy of faith, hope and love among all the virtues. it explains with such profundity and clarity the dangers of pride and how this grave sin deprives us of knowing God and stunts our understanding of holiness.
(Looking on the bright side, I guess I should be glad that I didn't die not reading Mother Angelica's Book.)
