Sabi ni Tita Cita, the 3rd order nun who took me at Mary Consolatrix Monastery, lahat daw ng nagpupunta sa monastery were sent by the Blessed Virgin. Nasabi ko na rin bang ang nanay ko-- whom I love so much-- is also a devotee of Our Mother of Perpetual Help?
Kahapon, first Friday, nagsimba ako kay Padre Pio. Ang nag-officiate ng mass ay ang Bishop ng Aklan. Na-amaze na naman ako when he shared about the dedication of St Mary Major Basilica in Rome. The site used to be a praying site for the pagan goddess of fertility. In a dream, nag-appear daw ang Blessed Virgin to then Pope Liberius instructing the Vicar of Christ to construct a church at that site in her honor. Also at that time, lumalaganap din ang heresy that the Blessed Virgin is the mother of the human Jesus. Pero napigilan ang heresy na ito through a council that re-affirmed the Church Dogma Theotokos- meaning the Blessed Virgin is the Mother of Incarnate Jesus who is truly human and truly divine. Snow fell in August, the height of summer, at the site where the Blessed Virgin wanted the church to be constructed. It is now known as the Basilica of St Mary Major (Our Lady of Snow).
So what am I saying?
Well, I don't know.
Is Our Lady calling me?
