ang lamig sa labas

winter's about to end

spring's forthcoming

decided to go out, nonetheless

attended a JSPS Workshop at Kyoto University

finally met the prominent Pinoy academics

effective!

impressive, they are

it always delights me

whenever I meet great thinkers-

the intellectuals of our time

rattlers

hehe

inspiring

sobrang magaling 'yung discussant from Malaysia

hope to meet him again

Khoo Boo Teik, his name is

said to r:

"mr r made a sober analysis of __

applaudable job he did-

analyzing an event that didn't happen."

sharp.

piercing.

[sorry, i didn't take any picture at the workshop :P]

kasama si thanda san

who also met a fellow citizen of hers

(Myanmar. She said the people of Myanmar are also called Myanmar.

Not proper to address them as Burmese because not all of them are.

It's like China's Han.

Burma is Myanmar's largest ethnic group.)

at ang mudra kong matapang

who fed us with his sumptuous adobo and torta

before going to the venue

and dared us to cross the river

after the workshop

had to hold my hand the entire venture

(ay, was able to make it on my own na pala no'ng mababaw na ang tubig)

freeeeezing

and breeeeezy

but we enjoyed the assembly

and the scenery

solved!

then dusk came
ok, desu.
time to go home.
:)
