Love,
the greatest amongst gifts
will do what Faith does;
love will move the earth and its waters.

Love will do what Prophesy does;
love will understand God’s prudence.

Love will do what Discernment does;
it will know what is right from what is wrong.

Love will be like Healing;
it will give strength to many.

Love will be like Tongues;
it will speak to the universe.

All gifts must be accompanied by Love;
and love without any other gifts is still able
to move
to understand
to know
to give
to speak
For love is the greatest amongst gifts.

Tomorrow I Might Die

and when I do
Can I honestly say I have loved
to the extent He would want me to love?
Can I honestly say I have tried
to the extent He would want me to try?
Can I honestly say I have shared
to the extent He would want me to share?

My faults are many
and with the many times I have fallen,
My body is bruised and mangled
and yet,
why do I still see light?
Why is it that when I lift my head,
even just a little,
when I gaze even one inch towards heaven,
I see Him?

His love for me is an endless song,
enveloping my heart
and I couldn’t really understand the notes of those songs
but they are there
and I see them
and I feel them.

No matter how many times I fall,
He never changes
He loves me still.
