Examination of
Conscience
The day is almost over. But before we say our good nights,
let us reflect and go back to its start- when we woke up.
Let us acknowledge all the gifts that we have received from
our good Lord- the gift of life, health and all His providence that nourished
us and allowed us to go through the day and perform our activities. Let us
thank Him for all His graces and His presence in the people that we encountered
and the events that transpired.
Let us thank Him for His insights today that helped us know
Him more. Let us hold these precious revelations ever close in our hearts.
Also, let us call to mind our shortcomings and continued
resistance to come in full communion with Him. let us sorrowfully acknowledge
our failings in reciprocating His love by not showing love and compassion to
our neighbour.
Let us offer these weaknesses to Him and ask for His mercy-
full of hope and trust that He would- in his immense goodness- take us back in
His loving embrace.
